Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt

Since this is the project which led me to the world of 'blogging stitchers' it's the first one I want to share with you.

This is my first attempt at quilting and I felt I should limit myself in the number of flowers I'll be making so that the task does not seem endless. I'm planning to make 9 of each color. Originally I planned to make all the hearts white but came across the frogs and thought that might be a nice touch. Rather than making a white path around the flowers I'm planning green. Up till now I haven't been able to find the right green but that doesn't really matter as there are still many flowers to be made.
