I'm back again to your site Margaret, with great pleasure. I the eastern area of France where I was born we celebrated St Niklaas. Even he went to the kindergarten. We also had very special brioches cakes in the shape of gingerbread men (but they weren't gingerbread). You can see them on my blog on Dec.2 and Dec.3
Frohen Nikolaustag!
I will tempt you with more book challanges for 2007. I have joined the classics challenge and the tbr challenge. The first is to read 5 classics in January and February, the second to read at least one book from your to be read pile (older than 6 months) in each month of 2007. I might not get all of this done as I tend to get sidetracked, but I will give it a go. The urls are in the buttons on my blog.
We enjoyed!! :)
We have celebrated Sint Niklaas met mijn moeder en vader. Wij eten goed chocolade en kinderen heben boeken en pokemon.
Wij heben de boom gedoen ook.
Sorry, I'm sure this is full of mistakes, Margaret... But I wanted to show you I had enough interest in Dutch culture te nederlands spreken proberen... I haven't learnt much (only one year two hours a week at university) and forgotten a lot... and the Dutch say I have a funny Belgian accent. lol...
Tot ziens!
How sweet of you to NOT speak Dutch on my blog, Margaret, as I certainly wouldn't understand a word in twenty!!! lol...
In case you're in front of your puter, I have just made a new post, and seen your nicest comment.
Lots of hugs!
