Happiness is..............

......finishing Fred's backside.

The image is grainy but at least it is proof that on August 28, 2007 I really truly completed stitching Fred himself. There is a lot more stitching to be done before the December 31 deadline but this gave me such a feeling of accomplishment that I had to commit it to my stitching memories.

A proper post is currently in the making.

And what a cute little backside that it is! I didn't stitch last night. I watched the lunar eclipse from the top of my driveway. It was a fabulous spectacle.

Oh Margaret, what a feat! I believe I only ever got as far as one book cover, but I would have to check to be sure. It's a lovely design, though. I applaud your decision to have it finished at the end of December. Good luck with that!

That is looking nice. Great progress so far. The backside looks almost as good as the front side would if we saw that.

Hi Margaret,

Thanks for the comments on my blog. I've seen all of the gorgeous squares on the Fair and Square exchange - they're all so pretty. I'm trying to limit my exchanges to one at a time, so I haven't signed up yet. Thanks for thinking of me though - I appreciate it!

Congratulations, Margaret! I notice that you haven't specified the year after 31 December, is this Freudian? Lol! No, just teasing you... Naughty me!
Keep stitching (and working hard too!)!
Lots of hugs,
Lili

I had to smile as looked at that backside. It reminded me so much of our own cat with the books (and anything else he can climb into and investigate). Beautifully done!!
